Lauren Shaw, Regional General Manager

Working within the Dynamic team since 2012 and the strata industry since 2004 Lauren has in excess of 15 years management experience. Lauren has a strong background in ethical business practices, compliance management, trust account supervision as well as extensive specialist knowledge in large, complex strata schemes and building management committees.

In addition to her role mentoring Dynamic’s senior strata managers and managing the business generally, Lauren has managed a large and prestigious portfolio of up to 2,300 lots (including several schemes within the Walsh Bay Community) with a combined asset value of over $829 million. Lauren is likewise responsible for the preparation of detailed budgets for her clients which regularly exceed $3 million per annum each.

In 2015 Lauren’s performance was acknowledged by the industry’s peak body, Strata Communities Australia, where she was awarded ‘Strata Manager of the Year’. This represents the highest professional accolade in the industry.

With tertiary qualifications in sociology Lauren brings a unique approach to Strata Management and understands the nuances particular to those living and working in medium and high-density communities.

Lauren is regularly consulted as a specialist within the strata industry. This includes appearing on expert panels including the 2019 Strata Communities Australia Convention where she appeared on an expert panel addressing the topic Steering the Customer Experience through an Apartment Construction & Defects Disaster, and the 2020 Australian College of Strata Lawyers conference where she appeared on an expert panel addressing the topic of ‘The Pitfalls of Strata Management Statements and Building Management Statements’.
