GK is without a doubt, one of the best Managing Agent’s I’ve dealt with over the years – and our current manager is outstanding. The building is large and consists of residential and commercial suites and is undergoing a major and a very overdue renovation/restoration which involves millions of dollars and is extremely complicated involving multiple different building companies, other agencies, government bodies etc– While the committee is doing its best, without the assistance of our current manager, Daniel, we would be completely lost and in a total mess – his knowledge and expertise along with his patient guidance through the multiple different and difficult tasks which need to be undertaken has been invaluable – We couldn’t do it without him and my contact with the company in a general sense has also always been very positive.– GK is highly recommend !!!

My contract exchange last Friday would not have occurred were it not for the enormous help from both Mary and Sally.My Strata Report inspector omitted two very relevant pieces of information from his report, one of which was essential before signing the contract.I learned it is not customary for clients to approach Dynamic PS personally, but I could not get hold of the Inspector on Friday morning so called DPS myself.Mary was very polite, professional and extremely sympathetic to my problem and within an hour had sent me the important information my conveyancer insisted we needed. The contract was signed before COB on Friday afternoon.Thank you so much Mary, Sally and DPS this was great service.
Our OC has experienced an exceptional customer service from our strata manager Jordan Biddle, he is responsive, articulate, smart and very knowledgeable. He always puts our building interests at best, which is not the ordinary.
Kelly Steele has been managing our Paddington apartment block for a number of years now, and does a great job. Kelly is responsive and processes work orders and requests quickly and professionally. Kelly is very knowledgeable about strata management and is able to provide practical advice to resolve the issues that arise in the management of our building.
My dealings are with Margaret Blackhall & Miki in the main. I have found them to be professional, knowledgeable, easy to deal with, diligent & reliable over their time dealing with me (as a committee member on our strata plan). They are significantly easier to deal with than a couple of previous operatives in their role from my experience. They received 4/5 rating as no-one gets 100%.
Craig Swan is our Strata Manager who provides excellent service and advice. Knowledgable in all things Strata related.
Margaret Blackhall and her team recently guided the rewiring of our apartment block to a successful completion. They also patiently guided to a successful completion a somewhat fraught fire order. Margaret is very capable and professional strata manager. Her AGMs are disciplined, no-nonsense affairs which cover many complex issues in a firm, but friendly manner. If only all strata managers worked to her standards.

Kelly has been strata manager at our site for a number of years now and I have found her to be very professional and responsive to addressing all building related matters in a prompt way. She has been excellent at recommending trusted contractors and also in coming up with practical solutions, where necessary, for addressing recurring issues. I act as a part-time building manager at our site and rely heavily on Kelly, her support team and BCS as a whole, to ensure I am able to fulfil my role in a timely and effective manner.

Our strata has been with BCS for over 30 years, and during this time we had ups and downs. The company is only as good as the people working there – we had some managers who were not up to scratch and some who were excellent. For the relationship with the owners committee to work well, the strata plan manager has to be knowledgeable, responsive and a good mediator. We are fortunate that Beth – our current manager – has all these attributes in spades.

Warwick Lai is the strata manager for our unit block. He has been very helpful and prompt. I am currently removing a wall in my unit and I have to go through the CDC approval process. I have strata approval for the wall removal, but the CDC certifier wants to see specific approval from strata to say he can submit the CDC application. Warwick helped me to sort this issue out and we got strata approval in under 1 week which is a very fast turnaround which was really appreciated because it didn’t cause delays to the construction work.

Since that time I HAD, on the whole, had nothing good to say about the PICA Group, to the extent, that in fact I began the process to seek alternative representatives for our Body Corporate. To say I was dissatisfied with both our assigned Strata Managers does not come close to adequately stating just how dreadful I found their service to be.Fortunately however, a new Strata Manager, LOUISE NEWELL, called to inform me she had replaced our second Strata Manager, & we subsequently had an extremely pleasant phone conversation, whereby I found myself having a renewed hope in the PICA Group & the Body Corporate process.Shortly thereafter it was proven on several crucial occasions that Louise is an extremely professional individual whose assistance was key in resolving matters swiftly & with aplomb. We've moved to NSW Strata mgmt about six months ago. Right from the beginning the engagement, transfer from old strata to new, onboarding was fantastic, which was lead by Lucy.Then comes the senior strata manager, Sachin, he is one the most genuine strata manager I've interacted with. After navigating a rough patch through the Covid years, All Strata have worked very hard to provide the right level of attention across our property and prompt and open in their communications. Kylie Hocknell has been our Strata Manager since 2017 and we really appreciate all the support she provides. When she was seconded to PICA for a period in 2020 to work on a special project, we really missed her and were so glad when the project finished and she came back to us.I'm on the committee at our apartment block in Collaroy which comprises of 34 apartments over 5 levels, plus 2 commercial units. Due to the nature and complexity of our building, I've had numerous dealings over the years with Kylie.I'm of the view that too many people take strata work for granted, nor do they really understand what's involved in the role of a Strata Manager. Kylie's role would be very challenging, she manages a large portfolio of properties, deals with numerous emails and issues on a daily basis and also a number of personalities.I can't speak highly enough regarding Kylie. We've had some very complex issues since I've been on the committee. Kylie managed these with such ease and has steered our ship through some very rough seas. We had to replace the building roof so this required expertise in not only managing the process from beginning to end, but also diplomacy and sensitivity towards owners when arranging a special levy to fund the works.Kylie didn't miss a beat through this long process, arranging finance, sourcing a reliable contractor who specialises in this type of work and scheduling a special meeting with owners, to seek approval for the strata loan. In parallel to this roof project, Kylie also had to deal with a delicate issue regarding one of our residents and some legal issues. I had only recently joined the committee when all of this came about. I started to think, what on earth was I doing on the committee and what was I thinking! After a few meetings with Kylie, I felt immediately at ease and extremely confident with her at the helm.I have fairly high expectations but Kylie exceeds them by far. She is a professional lady, extremely detailed, very organised and very responsive which makes us a more productive committee. Kylie also possesses good communication skills, is across the Fair Trading Legislation and has a great knowledge of by-laws.We are a very active committee, always follow up on complaints or concerns from residents and enforce our by-laws. The best way to resolve issues and achieve the best results, is to work as a team. A Strata Committee and Strata Manager need to work together as a team, respect and understand everyone's point of view and agree on the desired outcome.We certainly hope Kylie remains our Strata Manager for many years to come.

Being the treasurer of a building of 100 units I had assumed it would be an all consuming job. However our building is lucky enough to have David Cheney from Body Corporate Services (BCS) Sydney as our unsung hero who is the iron fist in a velvet glove whenever things get complicated. He adds some serious technical knowledge to our executive team and allows us to make decisions safe in the knowledge that we are following the correct procedure and looking after our building.David’s technical understanding of strata requirements is extraordinary as the legislation changes continually he updates us and keeps us abreast of all developments.David Cheney is the tour guide of our journey around the strata unit world. He knows it all but let’s us discover for ourselves until a gentle guiding hand brings us back on track. The voice of sanity will gently cut into a conversation that has gone down a rabbit hole at our committee meetings as he has so many years of experience and has seen it it all.David doesn’t have 1 year of experience repeated 30 times , he has 30 solid years of experience. He takes the stress out of being treasurer and runs the test budget past me. Each line of expenses confirms he understands the building totally and has bothered to spend the time to listen.Last year our P/L was $15,000 surplus during a complicated year of repairs. That’s impressive. This years budget he mainly constructed by himself, once I had checked it was very logical and made total sense. Without David and BCS Sydney we would be all over the place.The monthly fee we pay seems small relative to the work and effort they put in and our building is generally considered to be one of the best run owners corporations in the suburb. I’m a buyers agent so I know as I’m involved with various buildings strata in the area on a daily basis.We got lucky meeting BCS Sydney and David and our building is better for it.

Sophia Lentros is our managing agent and I can't speak highly enough of her. I am the secretary for our building and since Sophia has taken over our management, my job has become far easier. She is so knowledgable, very quick to respond and exceptionally professional, crossing her T's and dotting her i's. We were having issues with a renter than wasn't fixed until Sophia conducted a house call and spoke with the occupants in person, so if that's not above and beyond I'm not sure what is (and yes it fixed the problem!) To whom it may concern!I have owned a unit at Monash Pde Dee Why for over 18 years. During that time Mason and Brophy have been the Managing Agents. I have always been on the Owner’s Corporation and more recently held the position as Chairperson.Our unit block is of an older style and, as such, has been in need of continual maintenance. This has included the replacement of the old wooden windows, the total roof being replaced and also replacing sections of the damaged concrete driveway: to name but a few jobs.All of this work, over the 18 years, has been managed by a range of Strata Managers working for Mason and Brophy.I have never had any problem linked to any requests for assistance that I have given them. All jobs have been handled promptly and with due diligence. The advice offered to our Owner’s Corporation by Mason and Brophy’s Managing Agents has been accurate and helpful.Since the beginning of March 2023 Joshua Bruzzano has been our unit complex’s Managing Agent. He has handled all requests given to him with the upmost efficiency and professionalism. Just last week an urgent safety issue was dealt with in a matter of only an hour or so of me emailing him. I was very impressed by this quick action.The big questions on the mind of anyone reading this would be:1. ‘Is our Body Corporation thinking about moving to some other Strata Managing Agent ?’ … and the simple answer is ‘No’. I'd experienced some ongoing difficulties with an administrative issue with Somerville. However, once it was brought to the attention of their new team lead, the issue was resolved within 2 days. I believe Somerville are on the path to improvement with new processes to address customer issues and to support their strata managers. Good on them for taking the steps to improve.

GK Strata has been a welcome "breath" of professionalism to our strata plan.In 2015 our previous strata manager passed away. We have had two other management firms before engaging GK Strata. In comparison, GK Strata are proving exceptional service. My experience of strata managers is that each have their own "style" in dealing with the owners and these can vary greatly. Our assigned Strata Manager, Isabel Wilson, is well versed in the strata act, which provides a good governance footing and informs the Owners of their rights and responsibilities. Meetings are conducted with due care, impartiality and an understanding of the owners needs and wants. Work-orders are issued and followed up promptly, as are other strata related issues. Finally, the transition to GK and Isabel has been smooth and effortless.
GK Strata is an outstanding company and a pleasure to work with. As one of their long term suppliers it been great working with them.

We had great experience with GK Strata since December 2019 years, especially Sean O'Dea. We terminated the previous Strata Company. Sean was like a breath of fresh air, his knowledge, recommendations and support. Since that day, we have made wonderful improvement to our strata management. Sean also helped us with a major development, next door to us, and managed to delay the project, and the developers had to make 136 amendments. The project did not happen.He's been providing excellent strata management services all these years. He has always handled my queries and requests extremely well with attentiveness, understanding, knowledge, professionalism and efficiency. Every time I was super impressed by his high-quality responsiveness and how well he took care of things.One of our major improvements, was to reduce our quarterly electricity bill from around $3,800 2019 and prior to Currently, just nudged $800 per quarter. I guess the organisation is only as good as their Strata Managers and I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum with M&B. Our previous manager was very unresponsive but in the last couple of years we’ve been lucky enough to have Valia looking after us especially as we have a busy agenda currently. She’s excellent, responsive, professional and very knowledgeable in what is an area mired with so much legislation. She runs our AGM really well too and I know I speak on behalf the Committee that we’re glad to have a really good strata manager looking after us now.

Our Strata Committee recently made the decision to switch from our previous strata management company to All Strata Management, and we have been extremely pleased with the results. Our previous company had been lacking in several key areas, but All Strata Management has exceeded our expectations in every way.The most noticeable improvement has been in the company's communication skills. From when we were submitting an enquiry, issuing a quotation, following up, accepting their quotation, and being assigned Melissa as our Strata Manager. With my previous strata management company, we often felt like we were left in the dark and had to chase them down for updates on any issues or developments affecting our complex. However, Melissa from All Strata Management has been very proactive in providing regular updates and responding promptly to any inquiries or requests that we have had. Their communication has been clear, concise, and informative, and it has helped us to feel more confident in the management of our strata complex.In addition to their communication skills, Melissa has also been very effective in actioning maintenance and repairs.Overall, we are extremely happy with our decision to switch to All Strata Management. They so far have exceeded our expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional strata management company. I found our unit`s strata manager Sophia Lentros is working hard and very helpful. I was applying for a by-law for my unit recently. At the beginning I had not idea where to start. Sophia respond to my inquiry swiftly every time. As the strata manager of my unit, she organize the work well to ensure my issue to be passed smoothly. I really appreciate her help.
Having dealt with many different strata managers over a number of years, I can confidently say that All Strata Services (Tuggerah) is one of the very best. Neill Williams has always been responsive and courteous, addressing issues as they arise.We have been with All Strata Services (Tuggerah) for over 20-years and Neill has been our strata manager for all of that time. I value the relationship and the support we receive from both Neill and All Strata Services. The quality of service we receive from both, sets them apart from other strata companies.I doubt very much that we would stay with a strata company and one strata manager for such a long time if it were not for the high quality of service we receive.
I was terrified when I saw some of the poor reviews made on BCS which I find totally untrue and unfair. Having worked in real estate and now a committee member of a property, I have only positive exchanges with the team of professionals. From reading some of the poor reviews, I can only say that BCS's role as Strata Management have been misinterpreted by some. BCS is not responsible to work for individual owners who wanted services for their individual units/apartments. The owners are responsible for problems within their property. BCS only deals with issues in the common areas. We are on BCS Miranda's books and I can vouch that we have been getting correct advice base on legality of NSW Strata Management Law from Caitlin Butler, our Strata Manager, who is also 'on the ball' with following up on issues on our behalf.
Our Strata Manager in particular, Megan Parkins, has been wonderful to deal with. She is extremely responsive to any correspondence and at our meetings is incredibly knowledgeable pointing out what we can and can’t do. She does a such a good job. She recently managed to close off a big outstanding matter for our building which was great

Neil Williams is the Building Manager for 117 John Whiteway Drive GOSFORD. Had an issue with water penetration following the storms. Neil responded to my request expeditiously to issue work orders to have the problem rectified. I look forward to updating this review if the work is completed as quickly.

Kylie Hocknell is our Strata Manager of a small industrial property in Brookvale. On a regular basis she provides extremely efficient and courteous service and all done in such a friendly way. We are dealing with a major air con maintenance issue that has required amendment of our by laws and negotiations with the project tenderers and legal advisors. Once again a pleasure having her managing it with efficiency, and courtesy.
Our company provided a building service to one of the buildings that Mason & Brophy is managing. The person who we dealt with was Alison. She, unlike many others, knew the procedure, which makes the job to be done easier and more efficient. Also our invoice was paid by the due date. Over all, we can rate our business experience with Mason & Brophy 10 out of 10.

Christine McCormack has been our Strata Manager for several years now. She is extremely hard working and knowledgeable about strata matters, and yet willing to learn new things as they crop up. We have had some tricky issues to be solved and Christine has been forever perseverant in coming up with solutions and communicating with the appropriate people (within and outside of Mason & Brophy) in a manner which encourages them to reach the goal.

Maria at Somerville First National has been our strata manager for many years, all the time running the complexities very smoothly. Recently we needed to undertake major repairs after a flood. This involved the coordination and liaison by Maria with many organisations such as insurers, brokers, building companies, trades people, the body Corporate, a real estate agent, tenants, owners and more. The window of opportunity was very tight in any case, but half way through the work further repair requirements were identified. Maria was able to advise on how to go about the entire repair process and she maintained good liaison through out with the aforementioned groups and myself. I could not have done it without her expertise.
